Expansion Joints: SPOOL TYPES (METAL, RUBBER, AND PTFE)
For piping systems, Macroseal offers many types of spool, or bellows, type of expansion joints. Special joints are available to handle internal piping pressure but that are flexible enough in lateral, axial, or any type of angular configurations. Both concentric and eccentric expansion joints are available. Unaflex and Proco are two of the quality companies for which Macroseal offers expansion joints. Rubber joints are available in chlorobutyl, EPDM, gum, hypalon, neoprene, nitrile, SBR, silicone, viton, and can be multi-arch, offset, or produced for special drilling. Typical metal expansion joints, usually manufactured with carbon or stainless steel, are typically bellows profile or wrapped with flexible steel braid. Pump connectors and flexible corrugated metal hose assemblies are also available. PTFE expansion joints are demanded for their excellent chemical resistance. PTFE bellows liners are usually produced with steel or rubber covers and flanges.
